
Garlic Herb Mashed Potatoes

Instructions
Peel the 2 lb of potatoes and cut them into 1.5 inch chunks.
Place the potatoes and 4 piece garlic cloves in a 3 quart pot. Cover with cold water and add 1 tsp of salt.
Bring to a boil and cook for 15 minutes until tender.

Drain the potatoes and garlic well. Return them to the pot.
Add the 0.5 cup of butter and 0.5 cup of heavy cream to the pot.
Mash the potatoes and garlic with a potato masher until smooth. Stir in the 2 tbsp of chives and 2 tbsp of parsley. Season with 1 tsp of salt and 0.5 tsp of black pepper.
