Dice the onion and mince the garlic. Rinse and drain the black beans.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the diced onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the minced garlic, ground turkey, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Cook, breaking up the turkey with a spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.

Stir in the water and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Add the drained black beans and frozen corn. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.

While the turkey mixture simmers, prepare the toppings. Dice the avocado, halve the cherry tomatoes, chop the cilantro, and cut the lime into wedges.
