Cook rigatoni according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Carefully add vodka to the skillet. Let it simmer for 1 minute, allowing the alcohol to cook off slightly.

Stir in crushed tomatoes, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.

Add the drained rigatoni to the sauce. Toss to coat evenly. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
