
Creamy Garlic Butter Skillet Chicken with Mushrooms

Instructions

Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. Season generously with salt and pepper.

Slice mushrooms and mince garlic cloves.

Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.

Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until softened and browned, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Bring to a simmer.

Stir in heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Let the sauce simmer and thicken slightly, about 3-5 minutes.
