
Classic Broccoli Pasta
A simple and satisfying pasta dish featuring tender broccoli florets tossed with your favorite pasta in a light garlic and olive oil sauce.

Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Add broccoli florets to the boiling water during the last 3-4 minutes of pasta cooking time. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

While pasta and broccoli cook, mince the garlic cloves.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Add the drained pasta and broccoli to the skillet with the garlic oil. Toss to combine. Add about 1/2 cup of the reserved pasta water to create a light sauce, adding more if needed. Season with salt and black pepper.
