Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

While pasta is cooking, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce slightly thickens.

Remove skillet from heat. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
