12 oz spaghetti
4 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic
1.5 cup heavy cream
1 cup Parmesan cheese
1 tsp salt
0.5 tsp black pepper
0.25 cup parsley

    Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

    While pasta is cooking, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

    Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce slightly thickens.

    Remove skillet from heat. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.

    Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat evenly. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
