(paid link)
Instructions
- 1
Slice the beef sirloin thinly against the grain into bite-sized strips. Season with salt and pepper.
- 2
Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- 3
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef strips in batches and sear until browned. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
- 4
Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet. Add chopped onion and sliced mushrooms and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- 5
Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- 6
Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir to coat. Cook for 1 minute.
- 7
Gradually whisk in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- 8
Reduce heat to low. Stir in the sour cream until well combined and the sauce is heated through. Do not boil.
- 9
Return the seared beef to the skillet and stir to coat with the sauce. Heat through for about 2-3 minutes.
- 10
Serve the Beef Stroganoff over the cooked egg noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley.
