
Loaded Hash Brown Casserole

Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Finely dice the onion. Grate the cheddar cheese.

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.

Grate the potatoes. In a large bowl, combine grated potatoes, sautéed onions, melted butter (from the skillet), 1.5 cups of cheddar cheese, milk, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle the remaining 0.5 cup of cheddar cheese on top.
