
Cinnamon Apple Baked French Toast

Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Cut the brioche bread into 1-inch cubes and spread evenly in the prepared dish.

Peel, core, and dice the apples. In a medium bowl, combine the diced apples, half of the brown sugar (1/4 cup), half of the cinnamon (0.75 tsp), and 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Toss to coat.

Scatter the apple mixture evenly over the bread cubes in the baking dish.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, remaining brown sugar (1/4 cup), remaining cinnamon (0.75 tsp), vanilla extract, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.

Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread and apples, ensuring all pieces are soaked. Gently press down with a spatula if needed.
