Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a 8 x8-inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, whisk together 2 cups milk and 3 whole eggs.

Melt 4 tbsp butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in 0.5 cup sugar, 0.25 cup flour, 1 tsp salt, and 0.5 tsp pepper. Cook for 2 minutes until lightly browned.

Gradually whisk the milk mixture into the butter mixture until smooth. Stir in the 2 cups corn kernels.
