1 lb large shrimp
4 cup water
2 tbsp salt
1 whole lemon
1 cup ketchup
0.25 cup horseradish
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp hot sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice

    Fill a large pot with water. Add salt and bring to a boil over high heat.

    Add shrimp to the boiling water. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until pink and opaque.

    Drain shrimp and immediately plunge into an ice bath to stop the cooking. Let cool completely.

    While shrimp cools, prepare the cocktail sauce. In a medium bowl, combine ketchup, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, lemon juice, and the juice of half a lemon.

    Stir the sauce until well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Chill the sauce for at least 15 minutes.
