
Ham and Cheese Pinwheels

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Unfold the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.

Layer the ham slices evenly over the puff pastry, followed by the cheese slices.

Carefully roll up the puff pastry tightly, starting from one of the longer sides, to form a log.

In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water to create an egg wash.

Brush the egg wash over the top of the puff pastry log.

Slice the log into 12 equal pinwheels, about 1/2 inch thick.

Place the pinwheels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
