
Classic Apple Bread

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.

In a separate bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the unsweetened applesauce, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
