8 whole apples
14 oz caramel candy
2 tbsp water
8 whole sticks

Insert 0.5 inch into the stem end of each apple.

In a saucepan, combine 14 oz of caramel candy and 2 tbsp of water.

Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until caramel is melted and smooth. This should take about 5 minutes.

Dip each apple into the caramel, tilting the pan to coat evenly. Let excess caramel drip off.

Place dipped apples on parchment paper. Chill for at least 15 minutes until caramel is firm.
