
Caramel Apples
Classic caramel apples, made safe for peanut allergies.

Wash and thoroughly dry the apples. Insert popsicle sticks firmly into the stem end of each apple.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the caramel candies, heavy cream, and salt.

Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Stir well.

Continue microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until the caramel is smooth and melted. This should take about 2-4 minutes total.

Tilt the bowl and dip each apple into the caramel, rotating to coat evenly. Let excess caramel drip off.

Place the coated apples on the prepared baking sheet. If using, immediately sprinkle with optional toppings.
