1 cup white rice
2 cup water
1 medium onion
2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp soy sauce
0.5 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt

    Chop the onion and mince the garlic.

    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
