
Apple Cider Donuts

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together egg, milk, apple cider, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead a few times. Roll the dough to about 1/2 inch thickness.

Use a donut cutter to cut out the donuts. Reroll scraps gently if needed.

Heat vegetable oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat to 350°F (175°C).
