12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp vegetable oil

Instructions

    Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries. Any moisture will cause the chocolate to seize.

    Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips with vegetable oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Alternatively, use a double boiler.

    Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, coating about two-thirds of the way up. Let excess chocolate drip off.
