1.5 lbs salmon fillets
1 lbs asparagus
3 tbsp olive oil
1 whole lemon
2 tbsp fresh parsley
1 tbsp fresh dill
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
0.5 tsp black pepper

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 400°F. Trim the woody ends off the asparagus. Finely chop the fresh parsley and dill.

    In a large bowl, toss the asparagus with 1 tbsp of olive oil, half the chopped herbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

    Spread the seasoned asparagus in a single layer on one side of a large baking sheet.

    Pat the salmon fillets dry. Drizzle the remaining 2 tbsp of olive oil over the salmon. Season with the remaining chopped herbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

    Place the seasoned salmon fillets on the other side of the baking sheet. Zest the lemon and sprinkle the zest over the salmon.

    Roast for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily, and the asparagus is tender-crisp.
