
Creamy Chicken and Mushroom Skillet
A comforting one-pan dish with chicken and mushrooms bathed in a rich, creamy sauce.

Slice chicken into bite-sized pieces. Slice mushrooms and mince garlic.

Season chicken with 1 tsp salt and 0.5 tsp black pepper.

Heat 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.

Add remaining 1 tbsp olive oil to the skillet. Add mushrooms and minced garlic. Sauté for 4-5 minutes until mushrooms are tender.

Pour in the heavy cream. Stir in remaining 0.5 tsp salt and 0.25 tsp black pepper. Bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.

Return the chicken to the skillet. Simmer for 3-5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly and the chicken is cooked through.
