1 cup amaranth grains
3 cups water
1 cup milk
2 tbsp honey
0.25 tsp salt
1 cup fresh berries
0.5 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

    Rinse the amaranth grains thoroughly under cold water.

    In a medium saucepan, combine the rinsed amaranth grains, water, milk, honey, and salt.

    Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the amaranth is tender and has absorbed most of the liquid.
