Drain the kimchi well and chop it roughly.

Spread butter on one side of each bread slice. Mix mayonnaise with the chopped kimchi.

Place two slices of bread, butter-side down, in a skillet over medium heat.

Layer cheese slices on top of the bread in the skillet.
