1 lb chicken breast
1 large bell pepper
1 medium red onion
3 clove garlic
1 inch ginger
1 cup fresh basil
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 lime

Instructions

    Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces. In a bowl, toss chicken with 1 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tsp cornstarch. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.

    Slice the bell pepper and red onion into strips. Mince the garlic and grate the ginger.

    In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining 3 tbsp soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes. This is your creative sauce base.

    Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.

    Add the remaining 1 tbsp of vegetable oil to the skillet. Add the sliced bell pepper and red onion and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
