
Lemon Garlic Butter Mussels

Scrub the mussels under cold water and debeard them. Discard any mussels that are open and do not close when tapped.

Melt butter in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Pour in the white wine and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes.

Add the cleaned mussels to the pot. Cover and steam over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes, or until the mussels have opened. Discard any unopened mussels.
